She graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in 2001. She began her internship in general surgery in 2002 in the second surgery department in Ichilov under the direction of Prof. Joseph Klausner and continued her internship from 2004-2008 at Mount Sinai and Maimonides Hospitals in New York.
Clinical experience:
Since 2009, upon returning to Israel, she has worked as a senior surgeon at Hadassah Ein Kerem, in charge of breast surgery and melanoma, and in 2017 she was appointed director of the breast surgery unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem.

Dr. Carmon is a member of the Israeli Society of Surgeons, the Israel Society of Oncology Surgery and the Israel Society of Breast Surgery. She is also a member of the American Society of Surgeons (FACS), the American Society of Breast Surgery (ASBS) and the European Society of Oncology Surgery (ESSO).
