Professor Dan M. Fleiss (MD) is the head of the ENT, head, neck and jaw surgeries, as well as the head of the Interdisciplinary Center for Oncology Neck Surgery at Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov) in Tel Aviv, which is affiliated with the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. .
He acquired his surgical training at MOUNT SINAI, SUNNYBROOK, and PRINCESS MARGARET, which is in Canada, as well as at INSELSPITAL Hospital of the University of Bern in Switzerland.
Prof. Fleiss is also currently a member of the Scientific Team in the Department of Otolaryngology, Mouth, Neck and Jaws at Mount Sinai Hospital and the University of Toronto, Canada; The Scientific Secretary of the Asian Society for Head and Neck Oncology; Treasurer of the International Academy of Oral Oncology (IAOO); Member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Head and Neck Oncology (IFHNOS); Chief Coordinator of the International Services Task Force for AHNS, and Co-Chair of the International Committee for Skull Base Surgery of the American Society of Head and Neck Surgery (AHNS).
Apart from these, Prof. Fleiss is also an honorary member of many head and neck associations around the world. He is often invited as a guest speaker at many academic events, including: the prestigious lecture at the Eugene N. Myers Conference on Head and Neck Cancer and the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (AAOHNS); PA Shah lecture at the Association of Head and Neck Oncology in India; Grimm and Percy Ireland prestigious lectures at the University of Toronto, and more. He also received the medal in memory of Sendulskogo in Russia.
Prof. Fleiss serves as the editor of many international scientific and professional journals.
In addition to all this, Prof. Fleiss has written about 350 articles and chapters from various books. He is also the author and editor of five books dealing with ENT diseases and head, neck and skull base surgery:
