Dr. Hanit Yanai is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.

Short biography:
Dr. Hanit Yanai's main occupation is in the field of inflammatory bowel disease in all aspects: diagnosis, multidisciplinary comprehensive assessment, personalization of advanced medical treatment including endoscopic treatment in appropriate cases, preventive treatment, complementary treatment, nutritional treatment, emotional therapy, and programs For long-term follow-up.
In addition to her daily clinical work, Dr. Yanai is actively and intensively engaged in clinical research and advanced translational research in the field of inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Yanai regularly teaches students and young physicians, and is active in the Department of Internal Medicine in the Department of Gastroenterology and also in the Department of Medical Education at Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Hanit Yanai serves as the secretary of the Department of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases of the Association of Gastroenterologists in Israel and is the representative of the State of Israel in the European Crohn's and Colitis Organization (ECCO).
In addition, since 2017 Dr. Yanai has been a member of the Education Committee of the European Organization for Crohn's and Colitis (EDUCOM) and since 2019 she has chaired the Education Committee of the European Organization for Crohn's and Colitis.

Dr. Yanai is a prolific and original researcher, her works are presented at leading Israeli and international conferences, and have been published in leading journals in the field of gastroenterology.
